IBEW / NEC study room

Week 5 · Codeology Chapter 3 · NEC 2026 Chapter 3

Build the installation.
Back it with your book.

Read the job. Make the call. Find the provision that supports it.

How to use this activity in class

For every choice, produce a decision or value, the exact subsection or table, the controlling jobsite fact, and an explanation of at least 25 characters in your own words.

Work through the guided jobs together, then use the random rounds for independent or partner practice. Complete and check one choice at a time. Each choice has its own two checks: the first identifies fields to review; the second reveals that choice's answer. A correct answer also shows its explanation. Read the answer, then select Next choice to continue. Explanations are on the honor system; only their minimum length is checked. Once your other answers are correct, you can continue without a separate discussion confirmation.

These are focused Code decisions. Check the full provisions, exceptions and other applicable requirements before treating any real installation as complete.

Inspect the installation

Read the measured conditions. Accept the detail or call for a correction, and support your inspection decision.

Complete this night’s guided sequence to unlock random practice.
